Accounts and sign-in
How do I get my sign-in details?
The school office creates one account for each parent, learner and teacher, and hands out a username with a temporary password. If you have not received yours, ask the class teacher or the office.
What is my username?
Learners sign in with their admission number, for example MJS-007. Parents and teachers use the username the office gave them.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Ask the school office or your class teacher to reset it. You will get a new temporary password and can set your own after you sign in.
Can I share my account with someone else?
No. Every person gets their own account, so the system always knows who is looking at a child's records. Ask the office to create a separate account for another guardian.
Report cards and grades
When can I see the report card?
Report cards appear on the dashboard after the school publishes the term. Parents see only their own children's cards, and learners see only their own.
What do EE, ME, AE and BE mean?
They are the school's grading bands: Exceeding Expectation (75 and above), Meeting Expectation (41–74), Approaching Expectation (21–40) and Below Expectation (20 and below). Each band has two levels, such as ME1 and ME2.
How is the term score worked out?
The term score combines the mid-term and end-term marks — by default mid-term counts 40% and end-term 60%, and the school can change the split. Class positions skip learners who are missing a subject's marks, and learners on equal marks share a position.
Can I see report cards from earlier terms?
Yes. Once a term is published it stays available. Open your dashboard and pick the term you want.
Fees and payments
How do I pay school fees?
Pay through the school's M-Pesa paybill or at the office, quoting your child's admission number. The office records the payment and it appears on your Fees page with a receipt number.
Where do I see what I owe and what I have paid?
Sign in and open Fees. Each child shows what was billed, every payment with its receipt number, and the balance remaining.
Will an unpaid balance hide the report card?
Only if the school switches that policy on. If it does, you will see a notice telling you the balance instead of the card — clear the balance and the card appears.
Privacy and using the app
Who can see my child's information?
Only you, your child's teachers and the school office. Other parents and learners cannot see your child's marks, fees or messages.
Does AMOS work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser and is built for small Android phones on slow data — there is nothing to install.
Still stuck?
Your sign-in details and password resets come from your own school's office.
